In 2017, Martha was awarded an Innovators Grant from the Summit Foundation to explore the wide world of parking, with a particular focus on strategies to accelerate parking reform. She read copious amounts and interviewed more than 40 leaders in the space to identify opportunities to catalyze progress. The report will be published in the fall of 2018.
In 2018, Martha was hired by the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities to help a cohort of funders interested in sustainable mobility and equitable access. She and Christof Spieler have teamed up to understand the current investments and priorities of foundations, and help them strategize on building a learning community, aligning strategies and focusing on high leverage investments.
